Small Specs was born out of necessity. Starting March of 2020, I had 3 small children at home who were now being virtually educated. They were spending several hours a day staring at a computer screen for school. And that's not including the time they spent on their tablets and phones. It was during this time, I noticed more complaints about headaches. And when it was time to go to bed, it was hard to get them to wind down. That's when another mom told me about blue light glasses. But when I went to order some for the kids, I had basically 2 choices, a blue pair or a pink pair. Both choices were boring, rectangle-shaped and lifeless. I knew my kids would NOT be excited. That's when the idea for Small Specs was born: quality, blue light glasses that showcase a child's personality. Screens are a way of life for our kids but why not protect their eyes in style?
